Yes, we strictly abide by any regulations in the Hong Kong law. All income gained will be used for charity and educational purposes.

Since our gains in this campaign will not be used to meet any political purposes, running businesses, investing in financial products, purchasing securities, money lending, paying for civil litigation costs or any other illegal purposes, our campaign would not offend the National Security Law, Securities and Futures Ordinance, Companies (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance, Money Lenders Ordinance, Chamberty related regulations or any other relevant regulations in the Hong Kong law.

Since we have not completed our registration as a limited liability company by guarantee, we have not been able to make a bank account yet. Your donations will be stored in our PayPal account for the time being.

After we have created our bank account, we will transfer the sums from our PayPal account to our bank account.

As mentioned above, because we have not created a bank account, and we haven’t registered as a tax-exempt charity yet, we are not able to accept donations by cheques or wire transfer directly. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We keep our accounts secure. Only our Executive Director and Financial Director has access to the account.

All small expense items (below $ 2000) in our projects will be paid by our volunteers first. After being compiled by our Project Financial Assistants, the project expenditures will be reviewed by our Financial Director. Our Financial Director will then withdraw the imbursement sum from our account and hand it to our Project Financial Assistants, who will distribute it to our volunteers.

All large expense items (above $ 2000) in our projects will be paid by our Financial Director directly.
